Our research, finding no other claim to this title, led us to file for for the following Guinness World Record.
Guiness claim text: Mennonite Historians of Eastern Pennsylvania hosted a 9 Wicket Croquet Tournament (Familiar backyard variety) managed by Croquet Your Way believed to be the biggest single day event of its kind ever held, in terms of number of players. 150 players participated in the event consisting of 2 elimination rounds, a semi final and a championship round. Tournament was held Saturday June 4, 2011 in Harleysville, PA, USA. In this multi charity event, the winning organization’s team claimed a $5000 first prize.
